Alex Appel '21 is the News Editor for the Concordiensis. She is a History and Russian & Eastern European Cultural Studies double major with a Seward minor in Biblical Translation. In addition to classes and the Concordy, she is the president of Union College's theater club, The Mountebanks,. Her favorite football team is currently anyone who's playing the Patriots.

An empty campus on the first day of the term. Students were asked to move out by March 22, 2020, because of the coronavirus pandemic. Across the world people are encouraged—and sometimes required—to social distance and remain indoors. All academic buildings, Minervas, Reamer Campus Center and residential facilities—with the exception of College Park Hall—are empty. Classes will be online for the duration of the term.
