On February 24, the rapper known as Waka Flocka Flame performed in College Park Hall, organized by the concert club. The artist is from New York City and he released his first song, “O Let’s Do It” in 2009 and released his debut album, Flockaveli, in 2010.

The artist is known for his songs “No Hands” featuring Roscoe Dash & Wale, and “Hard in Da Paint,” both of which he performed for Union students, along with covers of songs from other artists. The rapper came into the pit to get closer to students, invited students onstage, and even took a selfie with a student’s phone.

This is the first concert that concert club has done since COVID-19.
