LASO Takes Over Dining to Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

Flags of countries in Latin America, including Cuba, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Peru, and Colombia were set up around dining tables. While eating Hispanic cuisine, students also enjoyed vigorous music.

Jennifer Mendez ‘25, Vice President of LASO (left), and Gisselle Hernandez ‘25, President of LASO (right) coordinated to offer beverages and snacks from Mexico to students. The organization for the event lasted roughly a month, starting from September 14 to having the menu finalized on October 4.
