Q: What made you choose Union College?
A: When I was in high school, I looked up colleges that had D3 basketball (I wanted to play college sports at the time) and geology (I wanted to be a geology major in high school too). Union College was the first school that came up. When I toured the school my junior year of high school, I walked into the library and just knew this was where I wanted to be.
Q: What have you been involved in on campus?
A: I was involved in the cheerleading club from my freshman to junior year. I joined Gamma Phi Beta my sophomore year. I have been a student liaison for the Campus Facilities Committee for two years and I am on the Senior Class Gift Committee.
Q: What is your favorite memory from your time at Union?
A: There’s honestly too many to count! I would have to say Springfest 2019 when Charli XCX came. It was unforgettable.
Q: What is one thing you will miss about Union?
A: I’ll miss seeing my friends every day.
Q: How are you spending your quarantine?
A: Besides doing homework and watching Hulu, I recently picked up my trumpet again and am relearning how to play.
Q: If you had the option to return to the campus right now, what is the first thing you’d do?
A: The first thing I’d do is give the homies a big group hug.
Q: Who’s one person you’re grateful to have met at Union?
A: Aly O’Rourke!
Q: Any encouraging words for those who are just beginning their journey at Union College?
A: If you come in undecided or realize you don’t like what you thought you were gonna major in, don’t worry! You have plenty of time to choose. Really treasure the moments you have with your friends and take pictures of everything.
