The renovations to Reamer Campus Center that began at the end of fall term and continued through winter break, are planned to enter their second phase in the coming weeks. This new phase of the renovation will see the replacement of all windows on the building as well as further repairs to the roof of the building. The project is anticipated to last until the Fall.

“Phase 2 will be starting in late April with the rest of Reamer being wrapped in scaffolding to allow the main roof and all of the windows to be replaced. We anticipate that all of the roofing and window replacement work will be completed in the fall,” Danny Duque, the Project Manager for the renovations said in an email to Concordiensis

External renovations of Reamer were not the only developments. “We’ve hired Envision Architects to design and create a modern culinary experience in Upper Class Dining.  The design includes a renovation of the front (student facing) and back of house areas (kitchens, mechanical spaces),” Duque further noted. “On the first floor, Dutch Hollow, we’ll be reconfiguring the kitchen [area] to be more functional for American Dining Creations (ADC)… Our hope is that this work is also completed over this summer and ready for students when they come back.”

“This is a really exciting project for the campus that will really help us provide students with a modern dining experience,” Duque remarked.
