John Masci ‘22, Kiara Beckham ‘22, Will Duprey ‘22, and Sarah Worth ‘22 (left to right) are four Biomedical Engineer majors who presented their senior group project at the Steinmetz Symposium. Their project, titled” Weight Measurement System for Pediatric Transports,” is a comfortable and compact device that can accurately measure the weight so that Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) can administer the correct dosage of supplemental oxygen. Their device utilizes force sensors configured on a flexible mat.
