Major League Baseball scouts once again seen at intramural softball games

According to renowned campus sources, scouts from both the Chicago Cubs and New York Yankees were seen at last Monday’s intramural co-ed softball game. Keeping a keen eye on senior Chris Rogaine, these scouts have shown a strong interest in both Chris’s dominant batting and lock down defense.

Scouts had first indicated interest in Chris when he wrote “Softball Captain” on his professional resume. Word of this spread among the MLB, since not everyone can declare themselves captain of an intramural sport. Not wanting to let young talent go to waste, scouts from all over flocked to Union’s football field to watch the late night games filled with competition from Union’s best athletes.

“Yeah, I’ve noticed them before,” said Chris. I figured they were just here to see me and no one else, since I played in high school. Yeah, I don’t play for the college team, but this is what second chances are for.”

At press time, scouts were seen furiously jotting down notes after watching Chris shove a full pack of Big League Chew in his mouth.
